still going! 36wks

I am so happy to make 36 weeks! The pressure to keep them in is off and now the pressure to make sure I am ready when they do arrive is really on!
My appt today was good again, still 3cm dilated, now 90% effaced and
-1 station and good, short NST. Trying to hold out until after Saturday so my parents will be here, they missed the birth of my DD.
My Dr. said to keep taking it easy but I am allowed to go out and about for short periods of time, so of course I had to go to Target and pick up the rest of my must haves for the hospital; I did use the electric chair though!

I joined you today! I used the motorized chair at the grocery store the first time this weekend, too. Unfortunately, my DH thought it was funny to snap photos on his cell phone of me driving around like an oldie. It was really embarrassing when I had to go in reverse and the thing beeped like a garbage truck...

 

oh you ladies...I'm so jealous of your cart-driving-36-week-status! congratulations! I hope the next little bit flies by and we're reading your birth stories soon!

I do miss the cart too. Congrats on getting to 36 weeks. I know that I was relieved to get to that milestone. I delivered at 38 weeks so you are entering the home stretch. Good luck over the next couple of weeks. Can't wait to hear your birth story!

 

Alyson, so glad to hear you are feeling so cheery!! I am thrilled for you making "the mark" and now you are in the home stretch. How does it feel to be "worry free" if there is such a thing? But think now you dont have to worry about PTL or contrax or anything!! (like we all wont find something else to dwell on right?) Just glad to hear things are going so well. PS I am picturing myself driving a cart around Wal mart!! Amusing pic.
