All I want to do is go to sleep (I was ready at 6), I have a killer headache and I am so tired! But my girls (atleast one of them) are still up! They were more fussy and drooly today than usual, and they were both spitting up quite a bit. I have had to change the sheet 3x tonight (which I havent had to do since they were babies!) and I am down to the last clean sheet so I have to wait to throw the laundry in the dryer before I can go to bed plus someone is still awake!!!

Please go to sleep little girls before my head implodes!

I hope they go to sleep soon. Mine do that sometimes and it seems to happen on the day I am the most tired. I hope you sleep well tonight so you can be refreshed for tommorow. Good night.

hopefully they settled and you are getting your zz's, hugs to you

i just gotta say, though, i got a kick out of the "since they were babies" part of your post--i say this all the time, like they're adults now at 10 months--and yours are only 5 LOL

    anyhoo, hope tomorrow is better!

I know the time has passed but for anyone else who reads this and is going thru it.. Here is my question..........

When you say they are "still awake".. What does that mean exactly??

Don't they have a bedtime and you put them in their cribs and peace out??

Your babies are the same age as mine (6 mos approx) and at 6pm it's lights out and I go in my room with the fans on full blast and don't see them until the morning..

I'm soooo curious if it means that they are still out in the living room or awake in their crib?? Or if you just feel bad or afraid to go to sleep while they are not sleeping yet?? And does this mean that they just go to bed when they fall asleep?

Just wondering.. and feeling your pain I suppose.. but.. again, mine are in their beds and so am I shortly after 6 pm REGARDLESS of what they're up to in there.. I don't even think about it once I shut their door. (I know I am different than ANY other mother on this board.. always have been.) I've done it this way since they were 14 weeks old and never thought twice.

Anyway.. just thinking aloud.. and curious! Good luck:) I'm pretty sure if I waited for my guys to just fall asleep when they felt like it I'd be in a lot of trouble.. then again, I shall never know!

They're like little people now with little personalities not just lumps/babies anymore. I say that pretty often I am guessing because someone else brought it to my attention the other day.

I usually put my girls down either sleeping or sleepy. They are breastfed and still get up atleast 3x a night to eat. Sometimes they'll go down no problem and then wake 30-45 mins later but usually fall right back to sleep but not last night. And I cant sleep knowing they are awake plus we share a bedroom so I really 'cant' sleep if they are awake, they dont let me.

They did finally both fall asleep about 1030ish which is right around what time I would normally go to sleep but I was really hoping to get some extra sleep. They were up at 6 this morning and Maia decided she only wanted to take a 45min morning nap so I only got to go back to bed for about half hour. And my head is still killing me, I cant get rid of this headache.

I do think the girls are teething but I dont see anything. Maia has been since she came out! She bit me a few times today. And Sofia has really started knawing on her hands these past few days.

OH.. I was wondering if you all shared a room!! That makes PERFECT sense then! I suppose when they're still getting up at nite, that REALLY helps!

I am mean tho and I'd just leave them in their room while I slept, I formula feed!! Good for you tho on bfing!! BTW- did you ever change your clocks?? LOL!
