Stiff Legs!

Has anyone ever experienced a baby with stiff legs? she crawls and does everything actually, but her legs are so stiff. The dr wants to do an mri to check for something that could have happened inutero??? thoughts???

Hugs! We don't have it either. It might not be a big deal at all. Just try not to worry too much and I agree stay away from the Internet. Hugs!

 

DS 1 had stiff hips during the first 2-3 months...we had an ultrasound and they said it was fine. They suspected it may have been from being so cramped in utero and would need physical therapy to gain flexibility over time. The results came back fine and we did nothing about it. Yes, stay away from the internet... best of luck!!

 

When the girls were about 7 months old, our ped thought that ava had cerebral palsy because her back and hips were so stiff. We had to do physical therapy with her for 2 months and now she is perfectly fine. I think peds tend to overreact so don't get too upset yet. I know it's easier said than done, but I worried so much after they told me and she turned out fine. Sending :hug: your way!
