DH and I are wondering if this is normal behavior for our 11 month old twins

DS steals any and every toy from DD. We can give them each a Sophie and he will want hers - along with his. We have a set of 10 blocks, he has a choice of 9 and he wants the one she has.

When we see it we'll take it back and give it to DD but she is so mild tempered that if we aren't paying attention we won't even know he's taken her toy.

Please tell me this is normal and if there is anything we can do about it.

    Thanks!

Sounds normal to me. The grass is always greener...

Makenna steals Megan's paci every time she sees her with it. Even if she has one in her mouth and one in each hand. Megan doesn't mind so I let it be.

My twinkies are just over 7mos and I'm already dealing with this. Allie steals toys away from Maddie all the time. BUT I will say Maddie gets her revenge by crawling over Allie. lol

Oh don't worry when she decides she really wants it she will get it back. I posted 1 post like couple months ago. At first Nolan always took her toys, she only cried. But now she is the toy stealer lol. They still steal each other toys. But we try to stay out of it, let them deal with each other. They learn how to survive and play in harmony. My kids have their favorite toy spot hehe which is in the tunnel. They crawl in the tunnel, sit in there play toys and laugh at each other no fighting at all and of course share toys lol.

I know it's tiring but hang in there it will get better!

Yep, that sounds pretty normal, except our guys take from each other and both cry a LOT when they can't both have something. Some days are worse than others - right now they are teething molars, so the last week or so has been terrible.

Oh this made me LOLOL. (My) Megan is the paci-thief. As soon as she sees Lindsey's paci in her mouth, she focuses like a laser beam on it and won't stop until she gets it.

My twinnies only get theirs at bedtimes but if they fall n the floor etc and T1 spots any hiding anywhere she is exactly the same as above. She could have 2 and still go for her sister's!
T1 is also prone to taking anything that her sister might have. Toys, books, waterbottle, me etc.

Mine are 10 & 1/2 months. They are the same way. There is one twin who always wants what her sister has. Then when she takes it, her sister will throw her head to the floor and BAWL her eyes out, lol.

It started with the paci when the boys were 8 months....now it's everything, the little one takes literally everything from the much bigger twin and he is just crying...they are now 17 months. I think it's normal. I try to correct this behaviour also, explaining, but who knows how much a they understand...but eventually they will.

I have been wondering the same exact thing and was getting ready to make a similar post. My girls do this all the time. Livi is the main stealer and it is usually paci's but can be any toy. Occasionally Ava will steal a toy but not usually. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem.
