I'm getting mixed info on starting solids, so I'm just curious of when everyone else started. Thanks!

I started at 4 months but now I talked to the pedi and she said I can wait a few more weeks if I want to. I don't think my babies are ready yet, they seem to hate it, so I'm going to try again in 2 more weeks.

4 months here but they were getting cereal in their bottles already due to reflux. Every Ped is different with this one.

6 months, based on the unanimous recommendations of the AAP, WHO, CDC, etc.

I started at 9 months. The studies show the longer you hold off, the less chance of allergies.

I tried at 6 months, but Cody didn't like the food. He does great now at 8 months.

6 months here, mainly due to the fact that I didn't want to deal with the hassle, and our Ped. said it was fine to wait. Boys were growing, chunking, and content with just mama's milk.
Wish I could go back to those days now. It takes A LOT of my time to feed them most days, esp. now with table foods, and cutting things up, and trying to offer a variety. One is a super picky eater and the other isn't. So frustrating when one doesn't appreciate all the extra effort! :)

I plan on trying solids at 4 months, my ped said 6 months but my older 2 started solids at 4 months. As far as I know they do not have any food allergies. Of course this will all depend on if they are ready. We will see.

6.5. Good luck deciding -- this is one of those things that everyone has an opinion about.

At my girls' 4 mo. pedi appt. we got the go-ahead to start (the pedis in the office say 4 months is fine, we weren't having issues that warranted starting too early). We started around 4.5 months.

I started giving them something about every other day a week before 4 months.
Now they get a snack and "dinner" everyday and they are 6 months.

BTW for babies that seem to not like the food.. Its the texture.. They are not use to it.. ;)
