Hey when did all of your twins start getting their teeth. Mine are almost 7 months old and only have been acting like they might get some. When is to late and should talk to the doctor about it.

Every child is different. I have a friend who's DD didn't get teeth until she was a year. Her mother was also a late teether. You may want to ask your parents and SO's parents when you/SO started getting teeth to get a better estimate. My boys got their first toward the end of 7 months and Ryan got ALL of them very quickly. Jake took his time. Even my ID boys got them differently!

It varies. My DS got his first tooth at 6 months and DD did not get teeth until 8 months old. I would say if you are concerned, it is always worth mentioning to your pediatrician...but every baby is different.

My twins haven't started teething yet, but my older two got their first teeth at around 10 months. I have heard the later they get their teeth the healthier they actually are. I don't know if that's true or not, but just something i heard.

Oh boy does it vary!! My ds got his first tooth at 6-7 months I think and my dd didn't get her first tooth until she was 13.5 months old  The Ped told us not to be concerned until she was 15 months.... In a matter of 3 weeks she now has 3 teeth  You just never know!

Just like PP mentioned, it totally varies. Our girls started teething at 4 months and one already has her bottom front two teeth coming in. My Mom told me I was an early teether as well so I'm not surprised. Sometimes you can get a good idea based upon family history.

It does vary my first DD got her first tooth at a year old and my second DD got her first tooth at 5 1/2 months and the twins are now 7 months and they don't have any. They act like they teeth but nothing so far.

Apparently teething is hereditary but my mum doesnt remember when I got mine. DH got his at 6-7 months according to MIL and I was very excited when I saw two white points in DS´s mouth at Christmas (he was 7 months old) but they went back down again  . However, my two haven´t yet got any though I can see they are starting to push through.

Don´t worry, teething isn´t considered a milestone as such so I wouldn´t worry. Don´t wish for teething, it´s a horrible experience for both parents and babies! ;)
