My LO's just turned 8 months. We are still on stage 2, twice a day. We started some meats stage 2. When do we move to stage 3?
    Thanks!

I actually never did Stage 3 foods. :unknw: By nine months-for all three of my kids-they were on mostly table foods. Annabella was/is a pain to feed baby food to, so I was glad when I switched her to table food!

I don't think you *have* to go to Stage 3 foods. You could stick with the Stage 2, and then once you think they are ready to try some table food, move to that. It's what you, and your babies, are comfortable with.

The Stage 3 are just a bit more chunkier. I did try the spaghetti one with the boys right before we went to Italy, and they were totally turned off by it. We ended up giving them some pasta when we were actually in Rome!

The stage 3 foods are weird. Only one of my five liked them. They are like stage twos with chunks. Yuck! Like the pp, we moved to finger foods starting about 7.5 mos and by 11 mos we weren't using baby food hardly at all (maybe fruit mixed with oatmeal for breakfast sometimes).

I did some of the stage 3's around 9 months. Some of them were pretty gross, but they really liked some of them. Mine weren't ready for finger foods, so the stage 3 was good for getting a variet in them.
