I have been giving my girls stage 2 foods for a while and the other day I saw my pedi who said not to give the ones with meat. She didn't say why, but I was wondering how many of you give stage 2 meats to your 7 month olds??

    Hope

I started the meats at 7 months per pedi. orders. We were told to start them as they were a good protein sorce. My twins ate them fine.

I didn't give my girls meat until they were about 9 months old. But that's mostly because I made all their food and cooking/grinding/freezing meat was just too time consuming. So their first taste of meat was Thanksgiving turkey!

Hi I started giving my girl's also stage 2 meat's and others a week before there six month and when I went to there 6 month check-up she told me it was fine as long as they like it and are ready for it. I have been giving it to them for weeks and they really enjoy it. I give it to them for lunch like that it is not to heavy in there tummies late at night.
