Now that summer is here all my kids want to have the rotating sprinkler going. The almost 3 year olds are fixated on turning the faucet on to the max and getting the BBQ, lawn chairs etc all wet. I don't like this happening, but I can't spend all day outside with them. Any training ideas here? Thanks.

Can you move those things out of the way? Yeah I wouldn't want everything getting wet either.

I think it is vitally important to MY well-being to carefully chose my battles. That being said, decide how important it is and if you can let it go, then let it go and NEVER worry about it again! Summer fun!

I agree, I think you need to decide how important it is. If it really bothers you that much, I would set some rules and be very on top of it for a few days. If you follow through enough, they will stop. Routine is key.

I they have a horrible habit of doing this at my house too! I let them just have the hose w/o the sprinkler on it. Either let them have it or take the hose off of it - - and it might lose it's appeal!
