Spotting after cervical check?

    TMI alert...but is it normal to have brown spotting after a cervical check? You'd think I'd know this after 3 pregnancies, but honestly, I've just not had that many of these checks. I noticed the spotting a couple hours after my appointment, but now it's back again this morning. It's very light, but now I'm also feeling a little crampy. Not like Braxton Hicks, but like menstrual cramps. Uhhhh.

    Yep, spotting and cramping are both normal after cervical checks. If it makes you feel uncomfortable though, call your dr and I am sure they will reassure you.

    I asked the same question with my 1st check and Pap. I was told it was normal and like Heather said you can call your Dr and ask just to make sure.
