Spinoff: When is school out for summer?

DD's last day is May 24th! That is around the corner here.

 

We're in until June 15th. I wish it was sooner.... B)

 

June 26th. I'll probably work one more day cleaning up and stowing away for the summer and then I'm off to September.

 

For Marcus, May 30. For Jonathan, June 19. But Camp starts on June 25th--for all of us!

 

For Jill it's June 8th (?), and for the high school it's June 18th.

 

Was supposed to be May 31 but one of our snow makeup days was added to the end so we have 1/2 day on June 1 then we go back on July 19.

Caitlyn was supposed to be out June 1 but with snow days it is now June 7.

June 7th is the Kindergarten graduation for my boys.

Today is my littles ones last day, big ones are basically done, just 2 1/2 days for awards...finals were done last friday!! :a_smil09: :a_smil09: :banana: :banana: :clapping: :clapping: I love summer....and am always sad when school starts!!

Same here!!

Sean's last day is today, two more 1/2 days for exams. B&C have two more full days and 1/2 day on Friday.

 

Our summer holidays dont start untill july 3rd then go back mid august! We have really short holidays over here. 6 weeks in summer, 2 weeks in october, 2 weeks @ christmas and 2 weeks over easter. What do you guys get? x

 

We have just two full days left, including today. Thursday is early dismissal, 9:45, so I'm not even sure why they have to go that day!

 

We have a 1/2 day tomorrow, May 23rd, and that's it....we're done until August 27th. I'm so glad.....the hustle and bustle of school days wears me out. Breakfast and lunches, then homework, dinner, baths and bedtime. The lazy days of summer have arrived!!!! And we leave for SeaWorld next week...yippee!

 

Why do they make kids go to school this last week? Yesterday was "bring a board game" day, today was bring a movie day, tomorrow is Luau day, and I got a note from the teacher (got one last year too) that says and I quote "Thursday-School will dismiss at 11:30. Most are just coming by to pick-up report cards!" Now tell me that doesn't say "don't send your kid to school thursday, we really don't want them here". I sent her last year but this year I may just opt to go get her report card and go shopping for our trip. Otherwise I won't know when to expect her home.
