Spinoff on "How old were you"

This post and a conversation I had w/our OT got me thinking - how long were you w/ your sig. other before you had your twins?/first baby?

DH and I were together for 8 years - married for almost four - and according to the OT - that was a 'long time' before we had our boys...especially since we really hadn't got around to officially 'trying' yet - thought we'd wait a little longer...(SO glad the little bubbas had other plans for us )

What about you guys?

Together for 5+ years, married for 3+ when we were blessed with our twins.

 

together for 11 years- married for 3 out of those 11 when we had our boys through IVF

 

Me and DH were together for 8 months before we married, and married for a year when I found out I was pregnant with the twins.

 

Mike and I were married for 9-10 months before I conceived David, he was born on our 19 month anniversary. (We dated for 8.5 months before we got married, so I guess you could say he was born 2 years and 2 months after we first stared dating.) We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary less than a month after the boys were born.

 

We were together about 7.5 years prior to having them, married for 4.5.

 

DH & I were together 9 years, we celebrated our 3 year anniversary 6 days before our blessings got here

 

I am the odd man out. We had been married for 8 weeks when we concieved our twins and married for 11 months when they where born. We met in October.. I moved closer to him in January got married in May, pregnant in july the following April had our girls. Our life has never had a slow or dull moment. The funny thing is when we met we said " we wanted to take it slow" HA HA HA

 

First date June 8 1982, engaged Oct 31 1982, married Dec 12, 1982, first son born July 1984, second son born Nov 1985, third son, fourth son and first daughter born Dec 1999

 

My DH and I have been together for 2 and 1/2 years BUT we have only been married since June 2006... we found out we were expecting 2 months and one day after our wedding!! The twins will be here in 5 weeks!!

 

We were married for about 4 months when we got pregnant with my first child.

 

We were together a year before we married. When we had the twins in August '05, we had been married a little over 14 years. We waited until he almost finished his Ph.D. to have children. How fortunate to be blessed with twins at once!

 

Dated 5 years, got married, had DD 10 months later (our honeymoon baby!), had the boys almost 4 years after the wedding

 

Guess we're the slow coaches then ... it took DH and I 9 years to decide to get married, then another 3 years to move into the same country (yes, I mean country not county); 8 months later I was pregnant with these guys .

 

Together for almost 10 and married for almost 4 when they were born.

 

we were together for 13 years and the babies were born two days after our 9 year wedding anniversary.

 

We were together a year and half before we got married and married 2 and a half years before we got pregnant with the girls.

 

We've been together since 1998 married since 2003 and had our twins 3 years and 3 days later

 

We met September 9th 2000 and were married exactly 5 years later on September 9 2005. 5 1/2 months after our wedding we concieved the twins and they were born 2 months and 3 days after our one year wedding anniversary.

 

I've got a good one. My Dh and I were together 7 years before we were married. We got married in Sept. of 2006. Our little buggers are honeymoon babies. So, it officially took us three days after we were married to conceive. Couldn't of been more shocked when we found out they were twins. We weren't even trying to get pregnant. What a blessing though!!!

 

ha- lets talk about an odd ball. My Dh and i met in June of 04. He proposed to me Christmas of 04. We planned a wedding for June 24th 2006. Moved for my job to NC in August 05. In November, we found out we were pregnant and were decideing to move home becaue of the possible medical issues. WE moved back home in December of 05. Two days after Christmas we found out we were having twins. Wedding changed to Feb. of 06 and the babies were born 4 days before our original wedding date and two years to the date that DH and i met.

 

My partner and i have been together since i was 15 (him 18), got engaged @ 16, we still havnt married and i am 23 and he is 26. We have been together for 9 years this year!!! So i am having a loooong engagement! We had the babies after 7 years of being together. x

 

DH and I were together 3 months b-4 we got married, and were married 6 months when I got pregnant w/ our 1st. and 8 years when we had the twins. now 5 kids later I'm ready to be done.

Together 4.5 years, married for 3 years before we had oldest DD. So that would be married for a little over 8 years when the twins were born.

 

we were together for 4 years, and married for 4 years in April, so almost 8 years. I guess 7 years though when having our twins.

 

We celebrated our 5th anniversary 22 days after the twins were born. We were together 2 years before we got married. Man, just 7 years???? Seems more like 30!

 

Married 8-9 months when conceived first child. Had him when we were married 17 mo. Conceived the twins when we were married 20-21 months. Had them when we had been married three years and four months.

 

We were together for 1 1/2 years before we got married, and were married for 1 year 3 months before we got pregnant with the girls. We had just decided that we wanted to wait before getting pregnant again (we had an early miscarraige) when we got pregnant w/Lily and Lydi.

 

We were together for 5 years and married for 2 of them before we had the boys.

 

Officially together "Two weeks" but I should prefix this with. I woz living in canada my husband in england, and we'd reconnected over a school website (we went to primary school together in England). So we 1st connected February of 2002, he came over to visit for two weeks in July 2002 and we decided we wanted to be together, so he went back and sold his house etc.. and came back end of September 2002 and I got pregnant October 14th 2002 (the 1st time). We got married December 21st 2002 and the girls were born 2oth June 2003 at 37 weeks. Quite a story to tell the girls when they're older haha.

We were together for 4 months before we got married. Had our first child a little over a 1 1/2 years into marriage. Just over 3 years when we had Kaitlyn. By the time we had the twins we had been married just over 4 years

 

Dh and I were together for a year before we were married and six weeks into our marriage we got pregnant (suprise!)with the twins. They were born sept. 3rd and we celebrated our first year anniversary on the 5th of Nov.

 

Together for 1 1/2 years before we got married, and conceived the twins 2 months before our 3rd wedding anniversary.

Married 13 years when our twin girls, Evi and Elsa, were born.
Been together 18 years!
