I'm going the gradually adding milk to the formula route..I'm doing it with the bottles (morning and bedtime) and giving some milk in a sippy at 2. Once we are done with the bottles how much milk should they be getting? (our sippies that they like and use only hold 4 oz) How much when they wake up and at bedtime? Right now they get 8 oz of a mix in the morning and at night..I can't imagine they are going to drink that much when using their sippies..

Our pedi recommends 16 oz. per day, but that includes milk and cheese.

My doc always said 20 oz until 1 yo and then 12-16 oz of milk after that. My 3 yo is only drinking 5-6 oz of milk but also eating yogurt, cheese and other foods which contain calcium.

How much do you give them before bed? My guys sleep great right now (from 6 until 6) and I don't want to not give them enough and have them wake up in the middle of the night b/c of hunger.

Not a stupid question at all!

That's not stupid at all! I just asked a similar question the other day. I am going to keep giving them the same amount of milk (6 ounces) before bed, like I did with the formula.
