spinning babies

Today I had my 29 week ultra sound and both babies had flipped from bottoms down to heads down! I had seen the spinning babies website that was posted in a thread here, and though why not give it a try. I spent 4 min with my butt in the air and elbows on the floor, that night in bed I actually felt one of them flip. Low and behold today at the US there they were head down in position, I don't know if they would have done that anyway or if it was because of the exercise I did. Anyway I just wanted to share the news with you all and say thanks for the tip on the website. Both babies looked good and are measuring within 50 g of each other.

That's so cool!!! I will definitely keep it in mind if mine flip from head down like they were last time- worth a shot!

 

Thats great that it worked!! But you are still very early & they will most likely keep flip flopping til the end, so I wouldn't worry. My peri said until I am 35 weeks along, its hard to say how they may be positioned for delivery & even after 35 weeks, they can still turn. So you still have a while yet. I wouldn't get too concerned this early. Every week I go, baby B is opposite of what he was the week prior. Today at Dr's appt, he was breech, but I still have several weeks to go & anything can happen.

 

I hope they stay like that for you!!! Mine turned head down at 25 weeks and then at 29 they were sideways and then turned head down again at 31 weeks!! silly babies. Baby A is now engaged into the birth canal so i dnt think he is going anywhere lol

 

i also did the lateral exercises for several days--and then I noticed the kicks in my ribs instead of way down low--YAY for vertex babies at 34 weeks!! When my OB checked my cervix today, she said she felt a head, so we hope this means Abigail isn't going anywhere!! :clapping:
