spin off big girl beds

DS and DD has been able to climb out since 17 months I was wondering if that was the nrom or do I have monkies on my hands?

 

Mined climbed out at 27 months. And once they started..they wouldn't quit..so we had to switch them to beds.

 

15 months for us and no, it's definitely not the norm. I have some hardcore crazy monkey climbers. If you haven't already done so, start making gated areas accessible part of the time so the newness wears off because once they start going over the gate, there is no stopping them and it's NOT FUN.

 

My twins climbed out at 22 months. They were so good at it, that I never worried about changing them into beds until I got pregnant and needed a crib for my singleton. My now 8 month old can pull himself to standing and is ALL over the place...I am afraid he will be an early climber!

I'd say somewhere around 2 years old. I can't remember exactly (I was pregnant/taking care of a newborn). THey went into a toddler bed at 2 years 8 months.

 

None of my kids have ever climbed out!(knock on wood!)

 

We had to switch mine to toddler beds at 17 months (and pretty much remove everything else from the room) because my son would climb out of bed and try to let his sister out of hers!!!!

Wow! I thought it was around 18 months to climb out. My jaw dropped and now I am nervous but DH says he caught in an act w/my son trying to get out. I say, No-No I am NOT ready yet.
