I need a really good spill-proof cup that doesn't require those plastic stoppers (they end up leakign every time). I have the best cup now someone gave me, but I can't find it anywhere. the bottoms says geoffrey inc. It is a crooked cup and the top has a spill-proof lip and handles.

I'm just guessing that maybe it's a Toys R Us product since it says "Geoffrey". We used to have the Nuby soft spout sippies which don't use valves, but they figured out how to turn them upside down and press the spout against a hard surface and make a mess. They are great though if yours don't discover this trick!

we have some of these http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2799855 and i love them and plan on buying them more because you don't have to deal with the little plastic parts that have to be inserted into the top. these are spill proof without the inconvenience. they have them at TRU but i also saw them at Walmart and several grocery stores so i suppose they are pretty much everywhere.

ETA: just was reading the reviews and did want to mention one good point. when you get them you have to kind of poke your finger into the tip of the cup from the inside to kind of open the valve so they can suck. you only have to do it once and then they are good to go.

Right now we are using the throw away sippies. They spill a lot. But I am trying to teach them to keep the cup up. We are almost ready for regular cups.

The First Years makes a wonderful sippy cup that does not leak- unless it is getting old. They used to just have plain colors, some with handles, but they discontinued those and only have ones with characters on them. Currently, they have Cars, Little Mermaid, Disney Princesses. They used to have Elmo and Thomas, but I have not seen those around for awhile. They are insulated as well. If you want a picture, I could probably find one or could find a link.
I have used these cups since my first daughter was 11months old, 3+ years ago. There is no stopper in them, and they do not really have nooks and crannies for all that nasty milk mold to hide. The company does recommend that you wash the cup in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher first, as I think this helps open the valve. This is the only cup I have found that does not have a removeable valve AND does not leak. You can get these cups at Target, Walmart, TRU, BRU, Kmart...they run about $6-7 for a two pack.

I just followed the link above that goes to TRU, and this is the same sippy cup I am speaking of...

Definitely the Elmo sippy cups from Walmart. No valves and no leaks.
