I remember on here a while ago that someone mentioned a great DVD that helps with speech and pronounciation, does anyone remember it?

my dd's speech isn't clearing up like it should and I'd like to do a DVD as a supplement to whatever therapy we start soon.

    thanks so much!

    Hello,

You could try Baby Babble DVD ... found on Amazon and Baby Babble 2 DVD - you can read the reviews on what people think. It is two speech therapists that made the video with toys that they use during their sessions. It helps them start off with sounds they need to start speaking.

that sounds familiar! I'll look at it. from what you're describing it might be too babyish...

I did go to the school system's assessment and she's not "bad enough" to qualify... or rather the speech therapists opinion is that for now we should wait 6 - 12 months to see how it plays out... she thought that if we started something it might draw attention to it and make it worse. so lots to think of. thanks for the info on the DVD.
