Spatula "Tongue"

Ok, just a quick post...

We MOMs are great at sharing things that help our sanity, help our days, help our kids...

I just recently found a new, impromptu toy!

Our boys are starting to get used to being in their highchairs for mealtimes, but for those moments when I'm getting food ready, washing bottles, etc., I found a new "keep busy" toy!

Cooking spatulas! (sans stick)

I found that I could detach the stick from my spatulas and they make great teethers!

The plastic is colorful, the texture is gummy...my boys LOVE them!

Our spatulas are red, so when the boys have them in their mouths, they look like giant tongues hanging out; Hub and I just laugh!

Just thought I'd share...if you try it, make sure you detach the stick/handle first!

Good idea! I also like using measuring spoons, and we have these silicone brushes that they love to play with. although we do have to watch them because of the handles.

u never know what the little ones will like...... sometimes we search for the thing in stores and don't think about what we have at home........
