Which one do you have - the Marathon or Boulevard?? I had planned on getting the Marathon, but now I'm wondering if I should get the Boulevard. I know they will be in these for a while so I want to get the "right one". I'm sure I can't go wrong with either, but just curious why you chose the one you did?

We have the Boulevards. We got them because of the side impact protection things. We felt a lot of pressure to get the ones with the most safety features possible. We do really like our Boulevards. They have some nice features like a turn dial to raise the headrest and lengthen the straps rather than having to take it all apart (don't know if the Marathons have that or not). I did not love the Boulevards rear facing. With the LATCH straps in place and the side impact, it was incredibly hard for me to lift them in and out, and you can't see them at all or pass them things. Now that we are forward facing, love them. The Marathons are great seats though and have actually been more safety tested than the Boulevards since they have been around longer.

We chose the boulevards for the side impact protection.
My LO's are still rear facing-it can be hard at first getting them in and out, but I really dont mind and got used to it quickly. We have mirrors on the headreasts and I can see them just fine. I can pass things back to them (sippie cups) if I need to when I'm at a stop light or something, and if there is a pssanger obviously they can pass things back as well if needed.

We have the Marathons, I got a great deal off albeebaby. I really like them and the LO's are very comfortable in them. They are very easy to install and the straps are easy to adjust too. I did look at other seats with the "wing type" side impact and the guy said "the kids might have a hard time looking out the window"....so you be the judge.

Well, I decided to get the Boulevards; I heard it was safer to put your child in the middle of the back seat, but since we have 2 babies and only 1 back seat, we have to put them next to the doors. So I figured I'd get the side-impact protection as an extra safety feature.

It is a PITA to get them in and out rear-facing (especially with those stupid extra straps at the top), but it's do-able.

The Marathons and the Boulevards have the same base. They are exactly the same except that the Boulevard has side impact cushioning. So what you need to decide is if you want the side impact stuff or not.

We went with the Boulevards because I was able to find good deals on them at albeebaby. I wasn't 100% happy with their service, because I never got an email response after ordering the seats and I had to call them to ask if the order had gone through. They never returned my call! A week later I got a shipping confirmation email and then a week and a half later got the delivery. Everything was fine in the end so it's worth ordering there for the price, but don't expect any communication on their end.
