I'm 34 and a half weeks now and lately I've just felt really tired. I take naps during the day but still feel kind of tired. I know part of it is probably because I'm not sleeping as well at night and part of it is probably because I'm just laying around most of the time anyway. For others at this point, what is your energy level like? Or what was it like for those who have already had their babies? I feel like my body is kind of falling apart in different ways. I seem to be having a lot of sinus pressure as well...don't know if it's allergies or just from blood not circulating as well or what. Not wanting to complain...just want to know how normal this is. ;)

:hug99: Energy...what energy? Really, at that point, it was non-existant! The sinus thing is most likely from all of the extra blood flow...stuffy nose with pressure? You have every right to complain! It's no fun at the end!

I'll have to agree with Becky, my energy levels were way low by that point. Hang in there and get some rest.

I cat napped with my twins all the time... I would lay on my dd's floor, with the gate closed... I would keep a drink and snack handy for both of us...and I would nap with my pile of pillows and blanket while she played around me. Occasionally she would ask me to read her a book or something like that, but she stayed pretty content and put up with my tiredness for the most part. I think it's totally normal! As long as you are taking your vitamins, know that you are getting enough iron, I think you are okay! :lazy:

I have 0 energy! All I do is lay around all day and now when ever I have to do anything at all I hate it. I get excited to be able to go to the doctor's because that is my only escape but by the time I get home I feel like I want to nap for the rest of the day. Everytime I fall asleep I can only sleep for 1/2 hour or so it sucks. I have gotten to the point where I have stopped trying to go to bed with DH and I stay up until about 1:30am then I sleep pretty well. I wouldn't even describe how I feel as tired but more lethargic. Sounds like it's pretty normal.

PS I know what you mean about feeling like you're falling apart I have never had so many physical ailments I'm a total Debbie Downer. It's a miracle DH still wants to talk to me

I agree, in the past week or so I have felt MUCH more tired then before. I know I am not sleeping, but that is nothing new. Maybe it's because I am at the point were the babies are bulking up so they need to suck more energy??

The other thing is that I am getting CRANKY - I am trying not to be, but I find that for the most part my DH doesn't understand how heavy, sore etc. I am so he thinks that I am fine to have our 2 year old all day without a break or a nap

On the brightside, it won't last forever ....Right??
