Your body has every reason to be REALLY sleepy as it's doing a lot of work right now. But, it could be that your iron is low. Your vitamins should have iron in it. It can make you incredibly sleepy if you don't have enough iron. I am borderline anemic and I get REALLY tired. I would mention the sleepiness to the doctor and see what they have to say. And take a vitamin for the next couple of days to see if that makes a difference.
    Hang in there!!

Rest now when you can. I was very tired at that time too.

In our child birth class the instructor said that towards the end you would need more sleep. She said it was very important to sleep when you need to, you're body will need it. She also said it was proven that if a woman is really sleep deprived going into labor it could add 11 extra hours to the labor. Not to scare you, but take care of yourself and listen to your body. You also should take your vitamins, the babies need them. Hope you feel better and good luck, I know you are so close.

How much do you sleep? When did you last have your iron levels tested?

We are at about the same stage in pregnancy. I "sleep" 9-10 hours at night (I say "sleep" because I get up every hour to pee and because of hip/ leg pain). and then usually have a 2 hour nap during the day. But it does mean I am well awake the rest of the time :)

I'm in big trouble because I'm only 15w-16w, and I already want to sleep off and on all day! Enjoy your rest!
