We had a pediatrition appointment this morning and I can't believe how BIG our boys are getting!

Jack weighed 5 lbs at birth and is 9lbs 13oz. now and Ryan weighed 5lbs 5oz at birth and is now 10lbs 13oz. :a_smil09: I love that they are getting big and doing so well but when I look at their preemie outfits I get a little teary eyed.... :FIFblush:

Aw, they are chubbing up! I came across Sean and James' little preemie outfits a few weeks ago and couldn't believe that when they came home those outfits were huge on them!

Wow- they have grown!!! Did they grow much in the first month? My son got huge too, and was quite heavy at his 2 month- but my twins both girls- in a month have gained maybe a pound- ( I guess 2 if you count the 1 they lost!)

Same here, my twins weren't prem but they were 5lb3 and 5lb 8oz and now they are 11 and 12lb at almost 10 weeks!!!!!!!
I went through their clothes the other day to clean out their drawers of things that no longer fit and I wanted to put some aside to keep to show them how small they were........well, I found that VERY difficult. I just wanted to keep everything!!! :p

oh, i am so there! I had to create special box that i HIDE in the back of their closet of things to keep....and i want to keep it all. Of course my DH doesn't understand, but- too bad, i'm keeping some of those tiny things!

it's astonishing how much they grow, adn how quickly. I sooo remember looking at outfits taht people got us and thinking 'they wont fit into those for MONTHS"....and now they no longer can get into them..

it's one of the real physical reminders of how quickly they grow, and to cherish every moment, even when we're sleep deprived and covered in spit-up.

Carter's got it right, if only they COULD stay little...

Great weights :) . I know what you mean about outfits. Mine seem to outgrow them fast too...and they'll never be that teeny again. It's nice to see them grow so well, but on the other hand, I miss them being so small. Just wait 'till they're one year old!
