sonogram and appointment at 24 weeks

I went yesterday for a standard appointment and a sonogram to see the babies spine (wasn't cooperating last time). Anyway all looks well. They said they baby was weighing in at 2 lbs and I was wondering if that was a good weight for 24 weeks?!?!? If anyone knows please let me know.

 

That sounds like an excellent weight for that age!! Remember that the weight is not precise! Glad everything looked good!

 

Sounds like a great apt! I don't know much about weights, so I'm not much help there! I can't blieve you are 24 weeks already! WOW!

 

2 lbs. sounds great! I haven't had a u/s lately so I'm no help, but it sounds great to me!

 

I think that is a great weight for 24 weeks.

According to this chart here http://www.babycenter.com/average-fetal-length-weight-chart (sorry the TS pages are all screwy for me), the average weight at 24 weeks is 1.32 lbs.

 

I dont know much about the weights either but it sounds good to me. Hooray for for a great appointment and for your 24 weeks milestone.
