So I started CIO Sunday night, that night was terrible I cried too, but it only took about 25mins.
Monday night wasnt as bad and wasnt as long.
Last night Maia (my sleep fighter) was asleep within 5 mins! While Sofia (my good sleeper) fussed and made really angry noises for 25 mins.

So here's where it gets good and I really hope I am not jinxing myself....
Today they got up at 6 (way too early but I'll work on that later!), they took a 1.25hr nap without any crying, then their lunchtime nap was 1.5hrs (Maia never usually naps more than 30mins!! woohoo!), their afternoon nap was only about .75hr because there was a loud bang and woke them up, and their evening nap Sofia fussed through and Maia slept about 30mins thru her sister's crying and fussing.
Tonight they both fell asleep nursing and I put them down, they woke up a few minutes later and ONLY FUSSED for a FEW MINUTES before going back to sleep!!

So good naps and almost no crying when they go down!! OMG!! Plus they have only been getting up 2x during the night and going right back to sleep!

And the swaddle weaning seems to be going well too, I have heard them both sucking their hands/fingers. Friday I will free the other arm and see what happens....

Babies sleeping is the best! It keeps getting better and I am a much happier mom now that my girls are STTN! Good job!

They'll be 4 months on Monday.

And it was too good to be true, someone was up every hour last night and I have 2 little crazy ladies today so we're going for a nice long car ride!!

1 step forward, 2 steps back

You still give me hope... I wasn't sure if my boys were old enough to CIO, but at bedtime, dh and I are going from crib to crib to put out their little "fuss fires". As long as their needs are met (meaning they're fed, no wet diapers or belly bubbles) then they're ok to cry to sleep, right?? Good luck, I'm sure you'll have a better night tonight... and thanks for giving me hope!!
