some good things

I know all my posts lately sound winey and negative. So I thought I'd post about some good things happening for a change.


Someone that I never met before told me the other day that my babies were big when I told her how old they were. That made me feel so good!

Dh got a new job paying alot more money, he starts in a few weeks.

Because of some car troubles we have had and dh's new job, we got a new Saturn Vue last weekend. It is really nice!!

The babies' colds are ALOT better today!

I am still sick and could not get a doctor's appointment for today but I called my aunt who is a nurse practitioner and she called in some prescriptions for me. I have never asked her to do this before and there was a falling out between her and my mom and my sister a few months ago so things have been awkward. And when I called, she was like of course, what do you need. She even told me to let her know if we needed help with the babies this weekend. That made me feel so good that she was there for me no matter what was going on with our family politics.

And dh is actually not working this weekend and other than preparing the food for them(I did that) and giving them a bath (I may later if I feel well enough) he is totally taking care of them this weekend. And this happened without much of a fight. I guess he saw how sick I was and realized I was right when I told him that I am no good to the babies like this and that if I need to just rest and get better.

We are almost through the first year with preemie twins! It amazes me how far we have all come!

I am so fortunate to have the support of my TS friends. Especially lately when I really needed it. Thank you everyone!


Even though I feel pretty cr&ppy physically today, I have to say I am in a pretty good mood due to all of the above.

edited to add: the babies did great last night (other than being up a little before we went to bed) and slept until 6:30 this morning!!
