Hi all - so in preparing for the twins, just want to get a sense of where everyone feeds their babies. I know that if I use the twin breast friend pillow, that it won't fit on a regular glider. I happened to find an oversized glider, but it's expensive. It just got me thinking, and wondering where everyone feeds their twins? Are you on a sofa or loveseat? Do you feed one while someone feeds a bottle to another? Do you use a Glider? Looking forward to hearing thoughts.... thanks!

At this point I breastfeed them wherever they're hungry. If it's in the living room, we dual feed on the sofa or chair-and-a-half. In our room, they chow down on the bed. I've also fed both in the third row of our mini van. ;)

I waited until just last week to pull the trigger on getting a glider (it's to put them to sleep) because I wanted to be sure I needed one. Right now it's in our living room but once they move to the nursery, it'll go there. Honestly, if they're in the nursery and both hungry at the same time, I'll probably feed them on the floor with the twins pillow. I also have the option of using the spare bed across the hall if needed.

Our sofa has two recliner portions and I used that when bottle feeding so my legs could be bent and I could position the babies as needed. My boys were so small that when I BF, I had to use a reg. pillow or a boppy (which was sometimes still too big).

When I tandem nursed, I used the love seat with the EZ 2 Nurse pillow. I could a baby on each side of me.

I fed them at the same time on the sofa, laying them on my lap on a regular bed pillow.

I always sat on the sofa with a boppy on each side of me and bottle fed them that way. During the night I did the same thing, but just sat in the bed with the boppies on each side.

when they were newborns and sleeping in our room, for night feeds it was on the bed. During the day and now it is on the couch with the ez-2-nurse pillow. the bed and couch are the only things big enough to accommodate me and the babies lol!

i don't have a glider, but honestly that is because they give me a headache..anything that rocks like that does..i don't know why, i have issues just on a ferris wheel and i know better than to go on the rides at the fair or amusement parks! i have a papa san, but i haven't used it for feeding yet...the babies are only a month old and we are still camped out in the living room so i haven't really needed to use the papa san because i have my nice big couch right there and handy...

I tandem on the bed or the sofa - but more on the bed these days (or the floor on the carpet) because they are kicking and rolling like crazy and I am afraid they are going to push themselves off the sofa. I do have a glider though and I LOVE feeding in that individually. They eat and drift off to sleep at nighttime. But I am a "rocker" - I have to have a rocking device downstairs and upstairs or I would go crazy. The motion is very soothing for all of us. Good luck. (BTW - I just have a craigslist middle-of-the-road glider - unless someone is getting it for you, I think some of those overstuffed gliders are ridiculously prices, although I would like to have one)

I usually fed them sitting on the bed or the sofa with a regular pillow from my bed.

We had a beatup old loveseat that is too comfortable to get rid of. I don't worry about them getting caught on any movable parts.
They now love to pull up on it & I love to nap on it, especially after early am feedings back in the day.

In the nursery, I used a gliding patio bench with a nice cushion on it and a foot stool to get my knees up high enough. Worked GREAT! (and I paid less than $150 for the setup) I had room to sit in the middle with the EZ2Nurse pillow and have a baby on the bench on each side of me. I could make do with the couch in the living room or my bed but I much preferred my glider. As an extra bonus, it's still useful as a place to sit and read together before bed.
