what socks do you use that do not leave marks around their ankles and do not fall off? I am struggling with the socks. What style and brand...

I like Old Navy socks but I've yet to find any that stay on well.

Baby Gap socks stay on well, the knee high kind, but they do leave marks. I've had pretty good luck with Hanes so far; they don't fall off on their own but they're easily pulled off by babies.

I highly recommend these. They are pricey. Sometimes they still pull them off, but atleast we don't loose them. (and they aren't too tight on those chubby legs).

My favorite so far are the baby hanes from wal-mart.

I was having the hardest time with socks because they would either fall off or leave indentations on their legs, but I have started to fold them over around their ankles or their feet depending on how tight they are and have had no problems at all [IMG] In that case it doesn't matter what brand of socks they are.

I just bought some from the Carter's outlet store, the kind with the grippies on the bottom, and they seem to work well. They certainly don't stay on without shoes, but I've never found any that do!

I use the Carters. I have some pairs that some friends gave me but I just recently bought some new ones from Carter's and noticed that they don't make the top of it so tight anymore. If they are a little tight I simply stretch them out and fold them down. I find they stay on the best so far.

The walmart plain old white fold-over-bobby-socks work great here never come off and no indentations.

I bought the crew socks they work best. I buy them a size bigger than what they wear, and that works perfect!

I love Old Navy, the ones that go up to the knee - they stay on and don't leave marks

We bought cheap Target socks and they fall right off. Went out and got cheap generic socks at Meijer's and they stay on fine. They have a little bit of Lycra in them and they are tall (up to the knee) where the Target socks were shorter so I think that helps.

The thing I like to use to keep socks on Robeez type leather slippers. My girls still can't get them off accidentally or on purpose so they are great at keeping any socks (even the Target generics) on their feet.

Wanted to mention too about Babylegs. They are like little baby legwarmers to cover the gap between socks and pants. I made some of my own from cute adult socks by cutting the feet off. I think they'll be really helpful when they start to crawl, probably once it gets warmer again, and we need something to protect their little knees but they aren't wearing pants around the house.

Just looked at the Snapdragon website. Cute idea! If you are handy with a sewing machine (or know someone who is) you could get some ribbon, fold a piece into a loop the right size and sew it onto any socks you wanted.
