So what do you feed for lunch if not hotdogs or deli meats?

Just want to get an idea of what people serve for lunch. I've been giving the girls a lot of turkey and cheese or ham and cheese sandwiches. Also yogurt, fruit, grilled cheese, etc.

    Thanks,
    Kelly

We do lots of things here:

    Cheese Omlets
    grilled cheese sandwich
    cheese quesadilla
    peanut butter & jelly sandwich
    gerber pasta pick ups
    mac and cheese
    beach nut chicken and stars
    leftovers
    cheese
    fruit
    berries

I can't think of anything else right now.

we eat chicken nuggets (there are these delicious ones that are baked, not fried just for kids), cheese, eggs, fruit, crackers ( I am loving those cheese, meat & crackers from lunchables). hhmmm...... pizza, leftovers, pasta...things like that (oh - and hot dogs ;) )

I get those uncrustables, grilled cheeses and pb&j.
    Mac n cheese
    Pasta with carrots and broccoli
Chicken nuggets and sometimes I get chicken patties (the kind that you can put in the microwave for 50 seconds, b/c thats another quick fix)
I love those meals in a box type thing from the baby sections (puffs, cheese ravioli, juice, and I will add half a banana or some wheat thins to it)
Veggies, fresh peas, butterbeans, and whatever meat
Cream cheese and ham rolls (i think my kids would spoon the cream cheese and eat it alone, ha)
thats all i can think of right now b/c my brain is fried (probably from all those nitrates I've been ingesting...lol, j/k)

Their favorite lunch is Gerber Graduates Ravioli and avocado. Another good one is Healthy Choice soup with most of the broth drained out. Good way to get them to eat some veggies. They also like veggie burgers.

For both lunch and dinner, we feed our kids mostly leftovers of what we eat, supplemented with sliced cheese, yogurt, fruit, steamed veggies, and various forms of bread. They also like fish sticks and mini quiche. I've never managed to get them to eat either hot dogs or deli meats!

    pasta
    rice with veggies and chicken
    roast chicken
    toast with vegemite (we're Aussie)
    veggies
    chickpea balls
    spinach balls
    scrambled egg
    fruit
They pretty much eat the same for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I just rotate so they don't get bored. We don't eat with them (which I feel bad about) but I don't eat at 7,11 and 4.30. Also I don't eat as healthy as they do.
