I can't wait for this part to be over with!! I'd gladly puke over being exhausted and not be able to sleep any day!!! I just get so tired by 10a I feel like I could go back to bed!! I hope the next 6wks go quickly and this lets up!

Overall this is much less physically demanding than the last time, but I think I am more tired or equally tired because I'm chasing the boys around.

Sleep when the babies sleep even if that's 2 naps a day and a 7pm bedtime for you too! This will pass! I felt exhausted until around 16 weeks this time around. I was MUCH more tired with this baby then I was with the twins I think because (as Rachel said) Im chaing 2 toddlers around.

    You'll survive I promise

I have a pretty hectic work schedule so when I found out I was pregnant I was nervous about being really tired. It's hard for me to tell if I'm tired because I wake up at 4:30am every morning or because I'm pregnant. I am exhausted by 8-9pm. I understand what you feel like and I completely sympathize. Try to nap if you can, remember to eat well and take your prenatal vitamins and ENJOY this pregnancy!!

If it's any encouragement, I was exhausted in the first trimester too.. But I had such an energy boost my second trimester. I helped move us into our house... I scrubbed, cleaned, cleaned and scrubbed again. I think I put out more energy in the move than even my dh did. I finally hit a wall again last week, but then I got sick so it might've been from that. I'm hoping that as I recover my energy goes back up again.

Even with older kids, I was really tired. Of course, I was anemic, I'm sure they will check you but you might want to be on top of it so they check you right away.
I second sleep when your babies sleep--at least they are still napping age! I come home from work, put my girls to bed and go right to bed myself.

My exhaustion and nausea were SO much worse this time around and I think a lot of it was chasing around the twins. The nausea finally went away at 14 weeks (went away at 12ish with the twins) and about 15 weeks was when I felt more energy. Just try to get as much rest as you can.

I've never been as tired as the 1st trimester with twins. Even 3 1/2 years older, and a little heavier, I wasn't nearly as tired with Spencer. Think it might be twins again?

I was very tired also - I think it has to do with having young twins at home. It got better for me at 12 weeks - hope you can see an increase too!
