So it is t-minus 2 hours and I will be in the OR...I have to tell you all I am terrified of it all.
The C-Section honeslty scares me so so much - and I am so afraid to see if there is anything wrong with the babies once they come out. I hope I am not sounding selfish, just freaking out....

Thanks again to all of you for your thoughts and prayers...

Joanna, you are not in anyway selfish. someone like me who declinded an amnio only has prayers to get through the rest of this pregnancy. my thoughts are with you today for two healthy babies. i am sure you will have nothing to worry about. stay positive for both you and your babies.

You are entitled to freak out!! I felt exactly the same way when I found out my boys were going to be born. I was a bit further along than you but I had just gone in for my regular ob appt when they decided it was time. I didn't have a bag, my dh was at work. I hadn't even shaved my legs (in months!) and my pg had been very uneventful- so what you're feeling is totally normal! Don't worry about the c section, either- I have had 2 and recovered just fine from them both. Get up and walk around as soon as they'll let you and stay on top of your pain meds. Good luck this morning- I can't wait to read your story and see pics of your little troopers!!!

I think what you are feeling to totally normal. I had an emergency delivery and I had lots of worry too. Hang in there. You are going to meet your babies today. How awesome. I have chills for you. I wish you and your family the very best day today. Please keep us posted when you can. :grouphug:

I was a basket case before my c-section. I have never been in the hosptial for anything, so I was a wreck. The c-section was not bad. You will do great and have your babies with you soon.

I completely understand where you are coming from, it IS major surgery. You can ask the Dr for something to calm your nerves if you would like, when you get there. Be completely honest with the anethesiologist and OB. They are there to help you!! I've had 3 c/s's they aren't always pleasant, but can be easily. HUGS!!!!! And congratulations!!!!!

Good luck! You've had a worrisome pregnancy and now, finally you get to see the wonderful, amazing results. When I heard the babies first cry and they brought them to me during the section, it was the best moment of my life.

I just scheduled my C-Section tuesday and have been going crazy every since! I can not tell you why either but reality hits us in different ways, I do know that we have to remain calm and coast it out, for the sake of the kids.

I have been thinking about you and praying for you and your babies since I originally read your story. I hope right now, you are in your room resting comfortably, while your babies are looking at you thinking to themselves..."What a wonderful mom we have...She kept us baking for so long, and we are so proud of her". I have been checking for updates all day, and I know we probably wont hear from you for a few days, but I wanted to let you know that I have really been praying hard for you and your strong, fighter babies!!
