Ugh, my girls have had runny noses, goopy eyes off and on all this week and they are REALLY started to get on my nerves. All they do is whine (Morgan is WORSE). THey are barely eating anything for meals and in between they are crying for Easter egg candy (thank you grandma), fruit snacks and juice. UMMMMM....NO! Then, they just get mad at me and whine for daddy for the next 10 minutes, even though daddy is at work. We normally do NOT have these days, but man, I think it's combined with the fact that I'm big, fat, pregnant and tired myself. I'm coming down with a bit of a cold/cough and I'm just SO sick of hearing them whine. I just want to rest and get over whatever I'm coming down with. Last thing I need is a cough going into a c-section...of all things! And, I don't mind the girls just relaxing on the cough with their blankets...but everytime they try to get up, they put their elbow right into my stomach to help them get up, they crawl all over me, they can't sit still...and if the blanket isn't completely covering every part of Morgan's body, she throws a freakin' fit.

AHHHHHH...I just put them down for a nap...and guess what's going on? My whiney kids are in their laughing and jumping on their beds. UGH!!! I need out of this house!!!!

Sorry, I just needed to vent. At this point, I"m kind of lookin gforward to a 3 night hospital stay just for some time for myself :) I hope they are over this cold and stuff before the baby gets here. Mommy is just really tired and 1 week from having a baby...cut me some slack! I wish they understood...lol!!!

    Thanks for letting me vent!

UGH! I'm so sorry you're going through that! We're just getting over that kind of junk here. The girls stayed home last Thursday and Friday and then, of course, I had them all weekend. I just kept praying that they would be well enough to go to daycare on Monday b/c I knew I couldn't take another day like that!

I know just what you are going through girl!!! Your description, right down to the needing the blanket to cover her whole body, sounds just like my kids!! And I hate the elbow in the stomach or really hard in the thigh thing... You know occasionally I've just gone ballistic with my kids (in a nice way, but firmly enough that they know not to mess with me any more), and it really does work. Usually if I get to the point where I just sit down and start to cry then they listen a little better. LOL! But my normal routine is just to try to stay calm and repeat, "no. no. no." really calmly and quietly everytime they ask for junk they can't have. Then just walk away and get busy...let them have their tantrum and just stay firm. It's pretty sad when you are looking forward to the hospital stay!! But I remember those feelings.

Whew, I'm glad I'm not alone! Although, I don't wish these days on anyone...lol! I sat at the table today while they at lunch and I finally just put my hands on my head and said quietly, "Mommy is SICK and TIRED of listening to the whining and everything else today....blah, blah, blah." So, REagan says, "Mommy?" I said "What honey?" She says, "Are you sick and tired?" LOL...YES!!!!

:hug99: Oh, I can so relate to what you're describing! I did have to laugh about your elbow comment because the girls do that too...and it HURTS! I hope they take a nap and you get a breather. This is no time to be messing with mommy! At this point, I know you're done like dinner!

    Feel better!

I'm so sorry you are going through all that. I think my girls have been hanging out with yours lately. I know how crazy they are driving me, I can't even imagine being as far along as you and still having them act like that. I hope they give you a break soon.

You're right, NO time to be messing with mommy!!! I took some Sudafed and napped for an hour. The girls just woke up and they are in their room playing, so as long as they are happy, I"m letting them play. Before I napped I made an appt to get my hair cut tonight, so DH can deal with them...lol!!! He's got his monthly poker night tomorrow night, so it's my turn to go out!

Been there, done that. It was so bad right before Peyton was born, that after I had her, they wanted to release me on Thursday, and I begged to stay an extra day. It was so nice and quiet I was not ready to jump back into the chaos yet, lol. I know, I'm weird.
