    Hi Everyone!

My mom saw me exactly one week ago - last Sunday. Today when she came over, one of the first thing's she said was, "you've started to drop." She also said it could be a month or so after I drop before I deliver. I do not see my dr. until Thursday, when I begin weekly OB visits (at 32 weeks) - so I figured I'd wait until then to talk with her about dropping. I've had an uneventful pg (thankfully), so my husband and I were hopeful that I would go 37 weeks so they are full-term when they arrive. My doctor has even thought that I have a good chance to do that. I wanted to put in here that I've had absolutely no signs of labor. BH have been so minimal I've barely noticed them. I couldn't even tell you the last time I've had them - that I've noticed. One thing my doctor did notice on Thursday's scan was that baby A was really low - not engaged - but low. I was wondering, this is my first pg, if I've started to drop at 31 weeks, is it possible I'll hold out until 37 weeks? Anyone with any experience or knowlege responding to this post would really help. TIA :).

Sorry I don't have any experience with this but I wanted to say that the same thing has/is happening to me. I think - so do others - that I am carrying low and seem to have 'dropped'. I am only a few days behind you, first pregnancy as well and haven't had any BH to speak of, I will be interested in the replies :)

My mother told me I'd looked like I'd dropped at around 30 weeks, although I could never tell and my pregnancy was very uncomplicated...my two were born at 38w3d after having to be induced.

I think you can drop long before you go into labor- I would think especially with twins! This is my first twin pregnancy- but I think it just happens because the babies move lower to get ready- and everything just gets so heavy~ I think you have a good chance of going to 37 weeks, especially if you have had no signs of labor. As for babies sitting low- my son was sitting way low at 32 weeks, like hard to get measurments low- and we were induced with him at 39 weeks.

Do you guys feel your babies really low? Baby A is head down and I am feeling what I assume is her hands an inch or so below where my belly stops. Is this normal?
