DS didn't qualify, DD did. She has been getting shots since October, we never missed one. They both ended up getting RSV and today, DD was put in the hospital. Her O2 levels were too low and home treatments were no longer helping.
I can't believe she still got it this bad! Insurance picked up the full price of the shots. Otherwise I would be even more upset than I am now. Why did we even bother?

I'm sorry to hear that they've got RSV. That's the pits. . . We were told that the shots wouldn't necessarily prevent it, that there were still chances they would get RSV, but that there was research that Synagis could help lessen the severity of the problems/symptoms. Do you think the shots helped in that way at least?

I hope they are well soon.

Mine were born at exactly 35 weeks and did not qualify for the shots. They have both been hospitalized many times on O2. I will be praying for your kiddos and hope they do well. I know it is scary to have a child in the hospital. Good luck.
