so maybe I'm really dense, but what is this?

What is the thanks * line in our personal info to the left of our posts? I just noticed it there and I have no idea what that means.

 

It is when you start a thread and someone who reads it wants to thank you for posting it. You can only thank the post starter (OP), not anyone responding to the post.
If you want to know who thanked you, click on the asterik next to "thanks" under your avatar

DATJmom thanked you about your post about Maui without the boys.

I thanked you for posting this! I was wondering what it meant, too! Didn't know if I was supposed to post a "you're welcome" or something!

Remember you can only thank the orginial poster of a thread not people who responded
