    Hi All,

This is my first post. I just had my nuechal translucency test done - 12 weeks and 3 days. Everything looked great according to the perinatologist - they were even able to tell me that one is a boy for sure. They are in separate sacs with separate placentas (which I assumed since they are IVF conceived). But...I am worried. They saw a fibroid - said it was no problem - but I am worried about that (I didn't know to ask the size then). I lost a baby at 15 weeks 2 years ago - not sure why - autopsy showed perfectly healthy - might have been a clot - so now I'm on baby aspirin and Heparin. With my 5 year old, I had funneling in my cervix and was put on bedrest - but ultimately went off of bedrest and was induced after my due date. But what will happen if I have funneling with twins?

So my question is - how do I not worry about every one of these things - but stay on top of them just the same. I am getting ready for 4 months of a really busy semester at a university - hopefully that will keep my mind occupied.

I just wanted to introduce myself,

    E

Congratulations on your twin pregnancy and Welcome to TS! It is so hard not to worry, but all you can do is take things on day at a time. I had funneling when I was pregnant with my girs and I was put on hospital bedrest, but I really think every situation is unique and it really depends what is going on at the time. I am so glad you found us, this community is a great resource for support and information!

Hi and welcome to Twinstuff! :sign0016: Congrats on your twins. :clapping:

I am sorry for your previous loss. :hug99: It is hard not to worry about everything, that's for sure. Just take it easy with twins, see your OB for scheduled appts. and ask any questions you have. And of course do not hesitate to ever call your OB if you are worried.

Just to be on the super safe side, you might want to make sure you get regular cervical length checks.
Since you had that funneling with your five year old, you very well might have the same problem with
    the twins.
I was put on bedrest for shortened cervix and a little funneling, at 19 weeks, had a cerclage and was
then checked every two weeks. I continued bedrest until I delivered.

I hope everything goes fine with the fibroid.
I'm glad they have you on the baby aspirin and heparin.

    Good luck and welcome!

E, :hug99: I wish there was an answer on how not to worry about it all. :( I'm very sorry to hear about your previous losses. I agree with Kyrstyn, you can only take it one day at a time and hope for the best. If you ever have any worries or concerns call your doctor. :hug99: I am praying you have a happy and healthy nine months.

Welcome to Twinstuff and Congrats on your twins!! :)
