5 days go i gave birth to identical twin girls Lillian and Zahlia. Lillian came into the world weighing 4lb 6oz and Zahlia 4lb 2oz, they are both so perfect. vaginal birth and no NICU time, the girls were ready to leave after 3 days in the world, we were very lucky. i have been looking around on twinstuff my entire pregnancy but i didint want to post until the twins were here incase somthing went wrong. im very excited to be posting on here finally :FIFblush: I forgot to add that the girls were 11 weeks early, which is why the doctors were so amazed at their weight and how great everything went.

Wow, you must be so grateful to have your babies at 29 weeks and have no NICU time. I've never even heard of such a thing, most, in fact I'd say all babies I've heard of that are born that early spend weeks in the NICU. I bet there are a lot of FY mommies that wish their preemies had as good a start as yours!
Something else that strikes me as odd about this is that you have five-day-old twins and you find time to make eight posts in the first hour after registering here, including a photo. That's pretty unusual for our site. Most of our members take a little time before jumping right in. But it appears based on your information that things don't move slowly with you.
Congratulations on your little adorable babies! Great job mommy, you sure did a great job making them so big and strong!

WOW! 11 weeks early and no NICU TIME!!! h34r: That is record breaking! You must have drawn a lot of media attention for that. Do you have any links to your story in the media? I'd love to read about the details!

I'd love to read about the details! Exactly what I was thinking... if you haven't had any media attention on that, GMA will soon be after you! 4 lbs + for 29 weekers, that is excellent! Maybe you were further along then your OB thought? What does your OB say, I bet he/she thinks this is amazing!
My EDD did change throughout the pregnancy, i wanted to stick to the first date we were told but I guess it caused alot of fuss, the girls are 4 weeks early going by the final EDD. doctors were still very happy with weights and such.
