So did your babies get any presents for Christmas?

I know this question is a little late, but I keep meaning to ask.

I was 24 weeks along over Christmas (and in the hospital on bedrest), but lots of family members still gave our little unborn twinkies presents. I remember being so touched by the gesture, because it didn't even PHASE me that they would receive gifts. My SIL got them these little blankets and three years later, they are so ragged and loved!!

So did your little unborn bundles receive anything special?

My girls were due 01-13-07 and the drs kept telling us to expect them sometime in Dec. I felt bad because I was on bedrest and did not buy them anything for Christmas! I was so afraid they would be born early and we wouldn't have any gifts for them-I know they wouldn't have cared but I would have!! SIL bought them some blankets for Christmas which I was thankful for!!
they weren't born until Jan 3 so this Christas was their first and boy was it fun!

We of course got lots of diapers for our boys, but my db and dsil got them two little lambs - we are doing our nursery in Wendy Bellissimo Starlight and Lambs and so it was real special! They also got a Baby Einstein DVD.

We got christmas stockings from my husband's secretary. They are so cute...they are from pottery barn and have their names on them.

They each got their first stuffed animals. One a elephant and one a tiger(theme for room is animals), so now each of those are in the cribs. They also got things like bath towels, binkies and other little things. I was not expecting it.

Our unborn child got a book for Christmas! That was sweet & unexpected. I don't think the twins got anything.. well, we had just told people we were pregnant at that point! :)

My mom bought them cute little teddy bears, my mil bought them customized name bracelets, and my sisters both bought them some super cute onsies. Hopefully they will get their presents in a couple weeks-I really was suprised by the fact that my family thought of the little unborn twinkies:)

The babies each got a new bouncy seat, blankets to go with their coming home outfit, and a pack n play all from my parents! Also, I ordered my EZ 2 Nurse Pillow before Christmas (justifying that it was their Christmas present. . . what better than the gift of tandem nursing!!!) It hasn't come in yet though. I LOVE baby presents!!!

Last year at Christmas we still though it one baby. My mother was here before Christmas for about a week and she hung a small stocking that said Baby's first Christmas on it. Every time any family member walked past it we were required to put all of our change in it. By the end of the week we had $60. On Christmas morning, the money was in there as well as a winnie the pooh stuffed animal that "Santa" left.

Well in February we found out we were having a boy and a girl so she bought each of them a piggy bank and we split the money between the 2 banks. This year they each got a stuffed animal Christmas morning from DH's parents. My parents sent money for big kid car seats in October for their Christmas presents.

Next year should be a blast. They will be walking and hopefully saying a few words. Not to mention they will be eating table food.

    I love being a mommy!

While there were no presents under the tree labeled for the twins, my husbands family bought us presents that were for the babies. We were given the infant carseats, a bunch of items off our registry, giftcards to shop for baby stuff. All in all, a good haul!lol

How thoughtful! My inlaws got us the same stockings when I was pregnant!!! (Except, she didn't put the names on them in case we changed our minds!)

My mom/dad bought our baby-to-be a few little things for Christmas. She bought me a baby book (which I had to return b/c I already bought one and started writing in it), a brag book (which I LOVE b/c it holds 5x7 photos...have never seen one like that) and a little lovie blanket with a rabbit head attached to it. All of it is bright pink and OH SO adorable!

My IL's bought the babies matching blankets (one pink, one blue), each a little t-shirt with a saying on it and each one got a layette set. We let our sons each open one of the baby gifts. It was fun. Our oldest (just turned 4) can't wait for these babies to be born. Everyday he asks if we're going to pop them out yet.

My mom and step dad bought each of my twins a new outfit and a pair of little shoes. They also each had a stocking with little toys for their carriers and for their crib. My parents also bought a really neat nursery rhyme book that came with a cd. It was really sweet and really cool. :p

I was actually really surprised - my grandmother gave them 15 plain white newborn onesies. And my husband's business partner gave them matching blue striped footie pajamas (and gave us gift cards to Babies R Us).
