So did we find out?

Sorry for the late update, but last week I went to my 27 week appointment and all is well. I am still carrying the baby high and the heart sounds good and no swelling. I got the gold star from my Dr.

If you remember, my DH has been sighing about not knowing what we are having, so I broke down and asked my Dr. to write it down on a piece of paper so I could hand it to DH and let him make the decision to know or not. Well, the info is nowhere in my charts. It's just not an essential detail so we have to wait.

I asked my Dr. without telling DH I was going to do it, to kind of suprise him. I told DH about it last night, because he complained to his dad that he wanted to know... And DH let me know that he really is ok with not knowing, he's just the kind of guy that wants to know.

So on with the suprise...

Thats exciting. I dont want to know but DH does. He finally decided that he would honor my wishes since its so important to me and isnt going to know either!!I am glad your DH decided he didnt want to know!!

We are also having a suprise this time, and DH is also continually whining about it! I have wanted to be suprised everytime, but each pregnancy DH has talked me out of it. This time I WON, and although DH is grumbling a lot, I am so excited to go through labor just so I can find out whether this little one is another boy or a girl. It's fun to be in the last few weeks of pregnancy and onto the official countdown to finding out!

A little 'suprise' funny.
One day a few weeks ago Nate came up to me and said, "Mom, when our baby comes out, will it be a boy, or a girl."
I replied excitedly that, "When this baby comes out it will be a SUPRISE!"
Nate excitedly said, "Well, can it be a POODLE?!?"
