so bummed about the NGC multiples show!

We don't get that channel!

I heard someone mention it, and saw the commercial for it tonight & it looks SO good! I called our Dish Network, but we don't have that channel & it'd be an extra $20/mos for it. I'm so disappointed. Does anyone know if I can order the show, after it's all done?

what is ncg? what cable network and what was the show about?

 

I checked the website and there is nothing linking you to buy a copy of the program yet. I'd check back after the 14th. I'm sure you'll be able to after the programs actually airs.

I wonder if you added the channel & then canceled after the show if you would just be charged one month & no set up/cancelation fee? I would check in to that.

I checked last night and I don't have that channel either. It is part of the package I cancelled when I needed to reduce my bills as much as possible. I just called and it would be $7 a month to add it back in with a $2 one time fee. Not sure if it is worth it for one program but I have a few more days to decide!

 

Can you ask around and see if someone you know gets it and can record it for you? It's part of basic cable in my area, so someone you know must get it. Otherwise, even adding the channel for a night has got to be cheaper than ordering a dvd later on; if it becomes available, it's likely to cost $19.99+ . . . That being said, maybe someone on here who is much more technologically savvy than i can record it, upload it, and email it out . . . Is that even possible?????

 

It will be available to order after it airs......I would add the channel for the weekend and then cancel. I do get that channel. I would be happy to tape it for anyone-----I have a DVR and I am going to put it on there---if you want a tape of it PM me!

 

we don't get it either, but I watched a 10 minute preview. Do you get comcast on demand? it's on there, under national geographic specials.

This past week it was a preview channel but I doubt it will be a preview when that airs. I'm bummed too!

 

My parents and my SIL have Dish Network, and they are all getting NGC free this weekend. Check on this. You might have it free in your area, too.

My mom said she was pretty sure they got it free this entire month.
