SO blessed....

I'm sitting here in my living room, drinking a cup of coffee, and watching my sweet DS and DD happily play in their activity gyms...and I STILL can't believe they are all mine! A year ago, I was uncertain about whether we'd ever have babies or not...I'd was still reeling from a fresh IVF cycle that didn't take and was so unhappy...it's coming up on a year that we had the cycle that DID work on our favor

I'm feeling overwhelmed with emotion this morning at how lucky I am...at how lucky we all are...to have our beautiful children Thanks for reading

Mine are IVF babies too. Reading your post made me a little misty. It just gets more amazing every day!

It is funny I was just thinking the same thing about my babies. I had my eggs out on October 4, 2007 and here we are a year later with two beautiful babies. I feel so lucky and blessed, in fact I'm tearing up while writing this. I always marvel at the thought that we weren't supposed to be able to have babies and here they are. I love to watch them and tell them how thankful I am for them.

It is so easy to get lost in the stress of having these babies that sometimes I have to stop and remind myself that not that long ago I wanted nothing more than to be a mom. In addition there are still so many people that still with all of the great advancements, still can not have babies. We truly are blessed!

 

What a beautiful posts. I still look at mine like I cannot believe I am a mom let alone to TWO!!!! Amazes me everyday when I think of those lonely days\nights when I was childless and thinking it would never happen.

Right there with you! I went through a failed IVF last July/August 2008 and tried a whole new cycle again as a last desperate hope a couple months later and got pregnant at the end of October! We are SO lucky. There are some people who can't get pregnant on their own, but IVF (let alone any of the other stuff we tried a million times: clomid, gonadotropin shots), is so not even an option for them. Then, we go from no babies to lots of babies! I thank God every day.

Amen to that I do the same thing I will sit there holding both my babies and just think "Wow these are really mine" I never thought it would happen but it did and we beat IF.....I have my two beautiful babies.

 

Yeah!!!!

Roe and Joe are our blessings after infertility. It was our last cycle of treatments, and I was about to start seeing a therapist to work on accepting a life without children. And now I have two amazing little boys who are just the most wonderful thing in the world.

I thank god for them every day.

 

I'm in the same boat. Got my second IVF cycle last year right about now; now I have two little ones.

 

Thank you so much for the post. I could not agree more. Dh and I always say how we still can't believe they're really ours. We too had to do IVF to get our babies. We are so incredibly blessed & I thank God every day for allowing me to be a mom to two precious baby girls.

I can totally relate! We did 1 IVF cycle, but six cycles of other meds first - after one surgery on each of us . Enjoy those babies .
