    Hello,

So I just got grounded today from the peri. I thought my cervix was doing well and then in ONE week it goes
from 4.3/4.4 to 3.0/3.5! Yes, I guess I got a little confident on walking around a little more. I just started to do
a few more things, it's not like I was taking long walks or anything too long. If it gets any lower I have to go to the
hospital! That will break my heart because I have a 2 yr old. I pray I can hang in there. So I'm on bed rest, but
can get up to do the basics. It's just crazy how your cervix can go so thin so quick! Since I'm 23 weeks they
wouldn't do a cerclage on me, I would get admited to the hospital. So I am venting now. The bigger the babies
get the less I'm going to be able to do. The weight on my cervix is going to be too much. As for the rest of my appt.,
my TTTS hasn't changed, so that's good. It's still mild and they still have to watch me closely. These are the 2 areas
I'm being watched out over. I'm sorry but this pregnancy is so nerve racking. I'm so excited to meet my baby girls,
I just want everything to be ok. If you girls have any good advice that would be great. The only thing I can really do
now is stay off my feet. The other thing too is that I'm such an active person, so that's what makes it hard. But I realize
I need to suck it up and rest up for these girls. Well thanks for listening! I pray next week is a better appt. My Dr.
is sweet, but I am grounded he said.

Sorry to hear you have to stay off your feet now. It is hard and frustrating. Time to catch up on reading or movies...stuff you won't be doing when the babies get here :)

Sorry you are having to be on bed rest. It is good that you can be home though. Stay strong and grow those babies.

Im sorry your appointment didn't go as you would have liked. But you really need to STAY IN BED!!! I know its hard, and I can't even imagine doing it with a 2y/o at home, but it is amazing how quickly things can change. Have your SO put EVERYTHING you will need at your bedside, and only get up to go to the bathroom. I would even suggest getting a shower chair to shower so you are not straining. You are at such a pivotal point in your pregnancy, and it is so important that you follow your Dr's orders. I was on hospital bedrest for 4 weeks, scared out of my mind...

I know how difficult this is, but I promise it will all be worth it in the end! Take Care!

I’m sorry and I know cervix issues are scary… unlike contraction you can feel, you have no clue what’s happing to your cervix… I too am very active and it is hard for me to make a conscious effort to do (what seems like) nothing… but remember you are more active them you realize, you are making 2 humans… TWO… that takes a lot!
Hang in there I was bed ridden ay 24 weeks with my son… so I know it’s really hard… and I can’t imagine with a 2 year old… I will send you as much good vibes as I can… I wish I had the hang in there kitten icon… you know the one of the kitten hanging from a rope…

I know first hand how scary cervix issues are. Definitely take it easy and stay in bed. Hope things improve for you.
