I need to buy some snow boots for my 2 year old twins (we've already had close to 6 inches here), but one of them is still wearing size 5 shoes. Do they even make real boots for kids with feet this small? Most of places I've looked have boots that start at size 6 which will be way too big on her because she really has tiny feet. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know where I can buy very small snow boots without spending a ton of money?

Have you tried Target or Walmart? I saw lots of kid's boots there. Not sure of the sizes though.

Children's Place has snow boots!!! I got cute orange and pink for Ali. I bought Martin's at the MOMS sale (Stride Rites for $6) :good:

I got the girls' snow boots at Target. They had many sizes available -- we bought size 5. Course, this was back in September. They're probably well picked over by now.

I just went to Target, Carter's, Kohl's, Babies R Us, Wal-Mart, Payless, Rugged Bear and Marshall's. Every place sold boots in that size (my girls are a 4, so I was looking for a 5) but some places are, in my opinion, expensive. I personally wasn't willing to spend over $25 per pair of boots. So they are definitely out there although there are slim pickings right now. I found some for my girls at Marshall's for $16 per pair, Totes brand.

If you order from Payless online, you still get their BOGO offer, and you can ship for free to the store.

You can get size 5 at Target. They have two or three different kinds, and they range in price from $14.99 to $19.99.

I love the Target one (the fake UGG type). My oldest has had them 3 winters in a row ... $15 ... hope you find them. I've always stocked them up before the snow simply because they look cute either way and she can get them on herself.
