does anyone have a problem with your carseat fitting securely in them.. I find that one part of the bottom of the carseat does not click in securely .. I am afraid if I go over bumping sidewalks that it will go forward..
does anyone else have this problem if they own one?
and when did you put them in a stroller with out carseats?

I can only answer the second part of your question, as I didn't have the snapngo. I put them in a stroller w/o carseats at about 7 months.

When I was using the Snap N Go, I used to be worried about that too. It didn't seem very secure to me. I was just very careful when I used it - I didn't take it around for walks on bumpy roads or anything. I mainly used it for short trips like getting from Point A to Point B (to the doctor) or for shopping. I wouldn't have been very comfortable using it for walks anywhere that wasn't a fairly smooth surface. I also used to worry about going uphill/downhill or turning a sharp corner. It just did not seem very secure. But I did love the convenience, how lightweight and easy to use it was!! I would buy it again, I would just continue to be careful using it.

They outgrew their infant carseats at 6.5 months so we were forced to give up the Snap N Go. That's when I switched to the BOB Revolution Duallie. I love this stroller more than the Snap N Go!

We do have the snap and go and had the same problem. My DH took cabinet liner (it is puffy and sticky) that you would put in a kitchen drawer or cabinet to stop plates, bowls, etc from slipping and wrapped it around those bars of the snap and go to make it thicker and give the car seats something to grip on. We also make sure that we put the straps on when walking. It works great and we have never had an issue.

I just always make sure that the seats are strapped in and that they don't do any off-roading.

I am beginning the transition out of infant seats. They are not near the weight and height requirements but they like to sit up a lot more. I was using the snap-n-go up until yesterday. I am trying to wean myself and get used to having to carry them and not their infant seats

I started putting the girls in their jogging stroller at 6 months, their duoglider at 7 and now their umbrella stroller. Yes I have a stroller problem!

This is the way the stroller is designed -- you have straps that lock the front ot he car seat into place. I never had a problem, but I didn't go OFF ROAD that much.

If you use the straps that come with it, they are more secure.

There are is a strap on each side of the stroller where the car seats will go. You would put the straps up over the car seat and lock it in the middle. Make sure the straps are tucked in under those cutout spots on the car seats around where their hands would go. Sorry I am not explaining it better than this.

I think it depends on the carseat. The snug rides don't really fit (especially b/c the instructions are wrong). As long as the seats are strapped in, we are usually ok.

The straps go up over the carseat and under the little grooves, the same as you would if you were put it into the car without a base.

I think I also heard if you call the manufacturer they have some tips or some kind of adjustment you can make to have it more secure.

I had to use the straps tightly over the bottom parts of the car seats and then it was fine (I even went down three steps and back up three days a week with it). I stopped using infant seats at 6 months, they were too big for me to carry (I am a little person). ;)

Definitely use the straps! The stroller is not safe without them in my opinion. I always used the straps and even then I wasn't comfortable going on bumpy surfaces.

yeah I do to.. My friend who gave me the snap-n-go also gave me the peg perego carseats. I dont see where I could put those straps..
I am not liking the peg perego carseats..

The snug rides fit just fine. I use them with my double snap n go and have since the babys were born. They click in at the back and you put the straps under the notches on the top and then secure across the car seat. Works perfectly fine and Ive gone over curbs, gravel, parks with it, up and down hills and the seats have never budged an inch.

I haven't had that problem. My snugrides fit securely into the snap n go. Where do you guys have your bars positioned? We have bar A1 (the rear bar) on position #1 (the top notch), and bar A2 (the front bar) on #2 (the second notch) and we have not had a problem. I don't know if my dh followed the instructions, called Baby Trend, or did it trial and error, but I always thought it snapped in place and felt comfortable.

    HELLO!!

We purchased the Snap N Go because it said it could be used with Graco car seats. However, when we read through the instructions, I think it only gave instructions for the Graco Snug Ridge and we had the Safe Seat, which didn't fit. My husband changed some stuff around though and got our Graco Safe Seats to fit... finally. Now that it works, we ABSOLUTELY love it!

Definitely use the straps. Also do you have the correct cross bar for your brand of car seat (the stroller comes with a number of them that you can switch)?

We found it a great tool for relatively short trips on relatively smooth surfaces. Definitely wouldn't have taken it for a long walk on rough surfaces - that's what our jogging stroller was for.

We transitioned our kids to the regular stroller when they were too big for their infant car seats - can't remember what age it was, but our kids are fairly small.

We started using our BOB when they were 3 1/2 months w/o carseats, and our duoglider w/o carseats around 6 months.
