I'm doing my Xmas shopping early so that I'm not trying to get it done with a newborn. My girls really like small items. We got them each a Toy Story book that came with tiny figurines of the characters, and those have been their favorite toys for a month now. Best $10 I ever spent. So I was trying to think of something else that is tiny to get them. Any ideas?

Maybe a doll house with the little furniture and dolls?

Your girls are older then my two but mine are back in love with their Potato Heads... They have the family set and love putting them together.

Good luck and yay for getting shopping done early, I wish I had that kind of motiviation :)

Anything little pony or little pet shop would work I think (guessing your kids don't put things in their mouth at this point)... I know Toys'r us has a lot of sets with little disney princesses etc. you can check the dollar store also, they often have figurines.

My Little Pony is a hit with Lila too. Also Littlest Pet Shop, she loves all the little animals.

My girls love Littlest Pet Shop, My Little Pony, and these little Disney princess dolls that have dresses that go on and off. I'll warn you though, my mom got them the princesses and they are a pain to get those darn dresses back on. Oh and littlest pet shop and mlp's love to play with their little people in the dolls houses. :)

Ty (think beanie babies) has a new line of dolls, all about 3 inches tall.

I love the doll house idea. That is one larger type of toy that I wouldn't mind if we had the room for Alice.

My little pony is a hit here too. We have both the ponyville ponies and the baby ponies. Then pony villie ponies have some really tiny accessories and i usually toss those. We have a castle play house I think it's fisher price and it has 2 in people plus it's not overly large. Generic plastic animals are fun here too. Target usually carries the nice ones in all sorts of varieties.

A&A just got a doublesided board - chalk board on one side and the other is a magnetic dry erase board that came with the magnetic letters of the alphabet. They only use the chalk and dry erase marker when I am right there but they LOVE to play with the letters! It was $9 at TJ Maxx.

They LOVE the fishing game I got them at Wal Mart for $5 - the fish open and close their mouths as the game spins around you catch the fish with a fishing pole that has a magnet this one is a bit hard and they don't play by the rules but it keeps them busy for a WHILE!

I bought a bag of animal shaped beads (at Hobby Lobby) for a project one of my boys had and the girls took them over - they played with those beads for a long time that day and still LOVE them! We also used yarn and made bracelets they LOVED it!

They don't have one yet but they LOVE to play with hot wheel cars on my nephews rug that looks like a town with roads. He also has plastic army men and dinosaurs that were a hit!

Wooden blocks are still a hit with my 2

We have a set of Lego that aren't tiny but aren't choking size that they LOVE
