Slight staining of brownish blood. On call dr wants me to be seen tomorrow because today is a holiday. She didn't seem too concerned which made me feel a bit better. Is this something to be be very worried about or is this somewhat normal? I feel fine..nothing else seems abnormal. 13 weeks along. Thanks for any advise.

I had some spotting right around 13-14 weeks. It was brown blood which is ok because its older blood. Anyways, I was so scared we headed straight to the ER, had an exam and an ultrasound, several hours later we were on our way home and everything was fine. So if you are worried, its ok to go to the ER to get seen, otherwise you will likely be ok til tomorrow

I hope all is well for you. I'm sure it is. My doc says it is normal to spot like that within 48 hours after intercourse. Also you could have subchorionic (sp?) bleed, which is nothing. Keep us posted!

I had the same thing at around the same time and it really scared me...I called my ob after hours and she said that if there wasn't deep red blood and didn't increase, then it was probably fine to come in the next day. Try not to worry too much (I know, easy to say) - but you'll find a lot of women here have had the exact same experience and then gone on to deliver perfectly healthy babies. If you start to get a lot of blood and deep cramps that feel menstrual, then I would call doc again and go to hospital, but it doesn't sound like it's moving in that direction.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Have you had a check up lately? I would always spot a couple of days after I saw my dr. and they did a transvag. u/s. FWIW - I had a lot of spotting/bleeding throughout my pregnancy - and it was just my cervix - not the babies...

I had some bleeding at 9 weeks and 11 weeks. I had a u/s and they found nothing wrong. The OB said it could be a sensitive cervix. When was your last u/s? If it was normal it's highly unlikely anything is wrong, at least that's what my OB told me. Good luck tomorrow, chances are everything is ok and you'll get some nice shots of your babies.
