Yesterday my DH stayed home with the twins till about 10 AM... Then he had to go hang drywall for a friend so my mom came over untill i got home. Well when daddy is home all things change of course. ;) They got up at 5:30 and laid back down for maybe an hour he said... Then Savannah took a nap from 11:00 until 2:30! :D Beau slept until about 1:30. Well when i got home at 3 PM i figured they might need another nap but really i rather they did not take one at this point i am trying to stop all sleeping after 4 pm. I figured if i tried to lay them down they would sleep longer so i did not. So a dinner time i was feeding them some sweet peas and Beau literally fell asleep in his high chair! I mean he was staring at me... so sweet and his little eyes were fluttering. When we smiled at him he did not smile just stared. I was like are you ok Beau? He then started to drift off and lay his head down. It was the cutest thing i ever seen. I mean i have watched funniest home videos where this happens but to see it i was like OMG so cute... So yes he completely fell asleep it was 5:10 and so i cleaned his face ( he never woke up) and got him out and laid him in his crib and he slept for about 1 hour. I guess he can not handle staying up like that poor little guy... LOL...

Oh and yes we got three pictures... It was too cute not to take them! :)

So any sleepy table times for you?

So cute!!!! Last week the girls were eating snacks in their mesh feeders while I cooked dinner. I turned around and Meara's eyes were fluttering and her head was back and Ana had thrown the mesh feeder on the floor and had her thumb in her mouth and her eyes were half closed. I put them both in their cribs thinking they'd get mad and want to play, but they both just rolled over and slept for an hour. Guess they had a busy day at the sitter's house!!! I wish I took a picture... I was just so shocked to see them so sleep at 5:30 in the afternoon!

What a cute story! I have yet to see my little men "fall" asleep anywhere. They have to either be put to sleep or scream themselves to sleep.

My oldest son did this a few times during the phase when he was going from two naps to one. I would try to keep him awake until after lunch, but there were a couple of times he fell asleep in his high chair covered in food. It was adorable.

    That's cute!!

I got pictures of both my two falling asleep while eating a cookie. I even have one where DS fell asleep in his jumperoo. I guess jumping makes you tired ;)

My DS fell asleep in his jumperoo one day. He was jumping away while I was feeding DD and it got quiet all of the sudden. I looked up and he was aslpeep on his arm. DD was not happy that she had to stop eating while I took a picture of that, but it was too cute to pass up.

One of our little guys (Layton) fell asleep on Christmas morning right in the middle of playing. It was just incredible how quickly he fell asleep! DD wanted to feed the boys their breakfast and told me to put Layton in his seat even though he was asleep. We all thought he was just catnapping and would wake up as soon as we started to put him in the seat -- he's definitely our EATER, lol -- but try as I might, I could NOT get that little one to wake up! We were cracking up and DH ("Poppa") was taking tons of pictures. We even tried to put a bit of baby food in his mouth to see if he would wake up (DD really wanted to keep them on schedule at all costs!) but to no avail.

(And yes, that's me in the silly butterfly pajamas. Be nice! It was early and I didn't have any makeup on!!!)

The funny thing is that as soon as we laid Layton down to finish his nap, he instantly woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and continued to play hard for the next couple of hours, lol!

I love these pictures ... this will probably always be a favorite memory for me!

Our daycare teacher used to tell us that occasionally the girls would fall asleep in their high chairs at that age. I don't think it ever happened at home, but they got a lot more tired at school. I also always thought it was funny when people would post about their babies falling asleep while playing -- mine never did that!
