Ok I am worried but there is nothing I can do about it this morning. Last night the boys ate around 7. They woke up me up this morning at 530 which is typical. so I got up to feed them and was completely surprised to see no evidence of them eating last night. So I asked my DH if he fed them and he said he stayed up until 130 and they didn't eat. He said they didn't cry for it so he didn't feed them. They should have eaten around 11pm. Should I be worried that they didn't eat this one night? They are eating abour 6 oz every 4 hours or so. sometimes they do go longer but 5 hours is the longest and that is in the middle of the night. Thanks for any help.

If they are getting enough formula during the day and aren't having any weight gaining problems, I would enjoy the sleep!

ETA: If they start doing this often and you are concerned you could try giving them a little more in that last bottle.

Ditto pps...at 3 months, as long as they are gaining and eating well otherwise, then I'd be thankful (younger than that I may be a little worried). There are people who actually have babies that STTN at 3 months (I, unfortunately, was not one of these lucky people). Perhaps, they are ready to STTN or it may have been a one night thing. I wouldn't worry at this point.

I think it's about the time mine started skipping the 10pm feeding too. I know some people actually still feed wake them up for a feed at 10-11pm and that it helps some babies sleep until 6-7am. It didn't work for us, but it's something you might consider, if you're still awake at that time.

At 12 weeks we were going 11 hours sleep but 12 hr between bottles… (now 12 between bottles 11 ½ between bedtime and morning wake up bottle) … and I think we were on the every 3 hrs during the day and come 4 m we went to more oz every 4 hr… and are still there (some added solids)… enjoy… like pp said… maybe offer more during the day

I think it is fine - my girls were 2 months earlier and by 3 months they were sleeping 12 hours at night - I didn't wake them up to feed them at that point - they were gaining and drinking during the day - I don't think they need the middle of the night feeding if they are sleeping and gaining.

Thanks for the responses. I will have to see if this becomes a pattern or not.
