Sleeping through the night

    Hi ladies,

    My girls will be ten weeks tomorrow and have been sleeping from 10pm to 5:30am for the past week. They are formula fed babies. Is this normal for this age or am I just very lucky?

    Mine just started sleeping from about 9:30-10pm to 7:30-8am and they are 3 months. I think normally they don't start STTN until 4-5 months. I did read (I think on this forum) that STTN depends on weight and not age. If they are close to 13 lbs. they are more likely to sleep longer without feeding. I think that's right. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

    I think right now you are lucky as when babies sttn varies a lot! Mine sttn for a few weeks around 4month and now are up 2X/night to eat, and they are 5mnths old - I hope that they sttn again soon! Glad to hear you are getting some sleep though!

    I think they are a little young to be STTN, so I would go with the you are very lucky. But enjoy it! That is awesome!

    I think some people are just lucky. That's great. I don't think it has anything to do with weight as mine STTN (8-10 hours) since they were about 9 pounds. They would have done it earlier, but the doctor said we had to wake to feed until they were 5 months old (30 week preemies). Congratulations on your good sleepers.

    You are very lucky!! That is great. I do heard, from the boys ped, that it is usually about weight not age.

    Enjoy all the sleep!! Mine didn't STTN until 8 months, so I would say yours are a little early. ^_^

    Annalise started this around 9 weeks old. It took Nikola until about 14 weeks to be able to do this. Sounds great! Enjoy sleep, mama :) .

    Mine sttn starting at 10 weeks, but not every night. It wasn't consistent until about 4 months. Yes, you are lucky!

    enjoy it... mine were 10 weeks on Sunday and they go from 8-6 (last bottle at 7)... BUT i have to go in for one or the other for a replug once or twice...

    That's awesome!! Mine started STTN around 2.5 months and have not looked back (yet...knock on wood)! It started from 7 hours between waking time, then to 8, and now goes from 10-12 hours...
