My girls are 3 and a half months old and I'm just wondering what other people's schedules were at this age. I'd like to move their bedtime back or at least the last feeding of the night. So at this age, when did your babies go down for the night? When did they wake to eat at night? When did they wake to eat in the morning? Etc.

    Thanks!

My girls are 4 months and 4 days old. They go down at night somewhere around 8 pm'ish but it's still not quite that organized -- some nights they have their last bottle at 7pm, some nights it's 9pm. Both started sleeping through the night around 10 weeks, but since we weaned them from the carseat for naps and nights about 2-3 weeks ago, Monica continued to sleep through, but Magdalena began waking once a night. She usually gets up around 3am and barely eats 4 oz. and goes right back to sleep. Then they tend to wake up in the morning somewhere between 7am and 8:30am. Again, their wake-up time is not so organized yet, but I feel like we're getting closer to a typical, constant "schedule." I'm expecting everything to really gel by around 5-6 months. HTH!

Bed between 6 and 8, depending on naps and feedings. Naps after about 90 minutes of wakefulness, so that was four to five naps a day. At three months we were doing three feedings at night (between about 7 and 7) but by four months we were down to none.

At that age my twins went down at 6 pm. That was the only thing that kept me sane and I could put my oldest down at 7 pm. It eliminated most of the crying at the end of the day. They were still napping 3 times a day, but at 4 months we went down to 2 (9 am and 1 pm) combined with an early bed time. Currently it's still the same, except they go to bed at 6.30 pm and their morning nap is only about an hour (used to be closer to 1 1/2 - 2 hours).

Mine go to bed between 7-8Pm and sleep through the night, waking at 7am.

Mine go to bed around 930pm and sleep through until 7am. They take three regular naps a day and usually a 30 minute catnap from 730-800. I would like to move bedtime up but I'm not sure if they're ready to drop that 9pm bottle yet.

Thanks! I guess I'll just gradually try to move their bedtime up. Right now they still don't get their last feeding of the night until around 10:00p.m....then they wake to eat again around 5:00 a.m. (although sometimes one of them will wake and have to be resettled before that time. They usually go back to sleep after that until sometime between 8 and 9 a.m. So how did your feedings revolve around all of this? I guess I'm just trying to get some sort of routine down for now, although I like to stay somewhat flexible. It would just be nice to have some kind of predictability. I'm still breastfeeding some, but also supplement with small bottles of formula.

    Thanks again.

Sofiesmom, WOW! 6 p.m. That's amazing! When did/do they wake up for the day?

I was wondering the same thing. Mine still don't have a regular bedtime. Our schedule kind of goes like this.

    7:30pm- Bath routine
    8:00- Nursing
9:00 Try to put them down but they never seem to want to fall asleep at the same time. If they fall asleep at 9 they are usually up between 1 and 2 to nurse and then go right back to sleep until 7. But sometimes one won't fall asleep until 11 and then I will let him nurse a little at 10:30 then he will sleep until 7.

During the day they usually nap irregularly in the morning and then at 2:00pm they take a long nap until 5 which I am trying to move up an hour because I think that will help them go to bed a little earlier. Unfortunately I have not figured out how to get both of them to sleep at the same time when they don't want to.
