    Okay Ladies,

I know comfort is a thing of the past, but does anyone have any suggestions for sleeping postions (or pillow postions) to help you sleep. I have a big pillow (looks like a bean), and even that failed me last night. I am achy and grouchy because I cannot find any comfort. Has anyone found a postion that works for them?

I hear you! I can't get comfy either and it has gotten much worse in the past week, the babies have grown so much lately. I cannot stand to sleep on my side with this pregnancy - never bothered me with my sons. The only way I can get any rest is that I sleep in my recliner every night with pillows under, behind, and around me! I feel so bad for you girls on hospital bedrest because those beds are the worst.

I know this will sound crazy, but I'm actually glad I'm in a hospital bed because I can adjust the position. (Plus I have an air mattress, so that helps with the comfort of the regular hospital bed...)

As for pillows, I have 2 under my head, and then one on each side of me- one to prop my belly and the other to wedge behind my back. I've been lucky in that sleeping hasn't been too uncomfortable for me really.

I also try to change sides throughout the night so I'm not sleeping on one side too much. I've noticed that can help with soreness too. You may just have to try a few different things to see what works.

    HTH!

I had the same problem when I tried to sleep when I was pregnant. My Dr. prescribed me Ambien and it knocked me out, and I found that was the only thing that allowed me any sleep. I would always put a pillow between my legs, behind my back and in front of my belly. I also got one of those contoured tempurpedic pillows and it make a big difference in the position of my head. I always attributed my inablility to sleep to the fact that I was going to have 2 newborn babies at home soon, and God wanted to prepare me for the lack of sleep :)

The only way I can sleep lately is on my couch. I can't figure out why it is more comfy but it is!!
